The Body Silent plea

Image
The Body Silent plea Original Poem & Prayer by Creator The body whispers, sometimes screams, about choices made in dreams of sugary highs and sluggish lows, where wellness falters and sickness grows. I hide my habits, shame's heavy cloak, the empty wrappers, oh my-I fail to provoke fitness. Instead, I listen to lies, "Just one more bite," Ignoring the body's fading light. But a gentle guide, from the Holy Bible-James 5:16 "Confess your faults," let truth reside. For prayer and healing, hand in hand, can mend the soul and bless the land. The land of flesh, the temple frail, where nutrients nourish and muscles prevail. Let honest words, like cleansing rain, wash over habits and ease the pain. Through active steps and wholesome fare, we seek strength beyond compare. I honor my body, a divine gift, and let true wellness shine through- I will heal. Whispers in the Dust

Image
Whispers in the Dus t Original Poem written by the Creator Where golden towers pierce the sky, And coffers overflow, a silent cry. The widow's mite, a tear-stained plea, Lost in the echoes of prosperity. The scales of justice tipped and swayed, Where power reigns, and truth's betrayed. The righteous voice, a fragile thread, By worldly clamor, left for dead. The shepherd's crook, a gilded hook, While hungry wolves, their flocks destroy. The feast is set, the wine is poured, But empty plates, forever ignored. A whisper rises from the dust, Saying , "God is just enough." Though shadows fall, and darkness reigns, His light will break and loose the chains. The seeds of greed bear their fruit, A bitter harvest, absolute. But mercy's rain, a cleansing tide, Will wash the stains where truth has died.

From Sodom to Now

Perils of corrupt leadership   Reflections on Power, Greed, and Justice Government corruption is not only rampant in foreign countries but is  taking form in the United States of America, and can be an analogy for the wickedness and lawlessness prevalent today. Like unchecked sin festered in Sodom and Gomorrah, corruption can fester in governing bodies, leading to societal decay and injustice . It reflects a more profound spiritual malaise-lack of connection, a turning away from God's principles of righteousness and justice. Think of a city built on a foundation of sand. It may look impressive, but will crumble and fall when the storms come. Similarly, a government built on corruption, where leaders prioritize personal gain over the people they serve. Where justice is perverted, and where the vulnerable are exploited, is a house built on sand. It may hold power for a while, but it is ultimately destined for collapse. The Ashes of Sodom

Image
Image of A Destroyed City We must ask ourselves: can we see echoes of Sodom in our world today? Abraham's Plea The destruction of two cities simultaneously is not a tale we tell for amusement or to indulge in morbid curiosity. Instead, it is a story of divine judgment etched in the landscape of history: the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, a stark reminder of the consequences of unchecked sin and a powerful testament to god mercy.  The story in Genesis 18 and 19 paints a grim picture of two cities steeped in wickedness. Abraham, a righteous man, intercedes with God, pleading that the cities be spared if even a handful of righteous souls could be found in Glimmer of Hope. God, in His mercy, agrees.  Two angels are sent to  Sodom not to rain down fire immediately but to investigate the city's actual state.                                  Rotten Apples    A Polluted Ci ty ...

STILLNESS WITHIN

Image
Finding Your Peace Written by Creator Breathe deep;  breathe, the world can wait; Allow peace to guide you into a meditative state. Listen to your heartbeat. External noises will fade away. So, breathe as your spirit settles; Find your center, a quiet place; calm the mind, where worries sleep. As tensions softly start to cease. Relax and find your inner peace. Whispers in the quiet air, Ah, meditation's gentle prayer. Thoughts like clouds drift slowly by, Calm descends from the azure sky. Release the grip of anxious hold; Now, slowly exhale and let go. The present moment, clear and bright, Meditation's guiding light. No past to haunt, no future  call, Calm embrace, encompassing all. Find solace in the here and now. Be still and know that God is God, Let your spirit breathe. ***************************************************************** Final Thoughts 💬 One day, as I was going through a personal crisis, it seemed like peace was nowhere to be found. At that moment, I o...
